I first put this page up some time ago. Since then it has become clear that there are not only a few kagyu students scattered around the city, but that the main focus of Karma Kagyu activity is going to be Karma Samten Choeling. But some students are more strongly associated with other teachers or different Kagyu branches. It might still be an idea to know each other, so if you feel like getting in touch (mail me!) it might be an idea to all meet for a dinner or other activity some time. With partners, of course, if we want, regardless of their spiritual affiliation, if any. Maybe we (or at least those of us who wanted) could do a practice in some suitable space first (Chenrezi? Short prayer to Dorje Chang?). If we manage that once, it might or might not then be a good idea to repeat it, but at least we would have opened up some communication, and perhaps feel a bit encouraged and a bit less isolated. In the meantime, it's just a matter of making contact - please let me know if you are at all interested. Your mailing details will be kept strictly confidential, of course.
